Dear Co-Workers

Dear Co-Workers,

Unfortunately we don't all have our own offices. Instead we have cubicles, which makes it likely that other people with hear you when you talk loudly on the phone. To your doctor. When you are describing a disgusting ailment. In intense detail.

I can also hear you when you talk to your significant other. Which shouldn't really be a problem. Except that you insist on talking about your steamy non-professional lives.

Ew!

Sincerely,
Jenkneebee

You should totally do it back. Even if you're just making stuff up! :)

Hahahahaha! One of the many things that reminds me how great working from home is! I also hated being forced to listen to other people's radios. I would often ask them to turn it either down where I couldn't hear it or turn it off. One indignant woman refused (this is back in my punk phase). I told her, fine, then you won't mind if I bring in my boom box and play the music *I* like. She turned it off.

The funny thing is, at the time? I looked punk but still listened to my hippy music. She probably would have liked the Joni Mitchell and Rickie Lee Jones I would have brought in. But we didn't need her to know that, did we...
