That's a wrap!
The other day I came across this website that does something called "wrap art." They take their presents and instead of using traditional wrapping paper, they use non-traditional items. It's a great way to re-use items that would be thrown away and a way to spice up your gifts. I took a shot at it and this is what I came up with. Last year someone gave me a crossword tear-away calender and although I love crossword puzzles, I don't do one daily. I taped them all around the box and then used some ribbon and ornaments to make a nifty bow. Check out the website, there are some really cool ideas.

That took a lot of dedication it's beautiful. I love all the crumpled tissue paper on that site, I could do that.
That's a wonderful idea! I've often thought about sewing cloth bags for presents....
That is SOOOO cool. My oldest bro usually took all the scraps from wrapping and would do similar wrapping jobs for my presents. One year, he just covered the box with so many bows, you didn't even know where to hold it!!!
You are a genius.
This is a cool idea and that particular paper would be so fun for my Mom as she loves crossword puzzles.
Happy New Year - hope to see lots of you in 2008. See you soon. Kellan
That came out amazingly well-nice work! If I tried that, it would look like I'd fished the gift out of the garbage can down the street.
Life is extra fun for crafty people... the rest of us can only look on in awe :)
Wow, interesting ideas there... may have to try that myself :)
Okay....so I am way to lazy for that but it's a great project.
You are a patient and artistic woman. I could never do that.
Wow... you're crafty. Love it.

So cute! I love it!!!
That's super cool!
I love this! I bet I could use other kinds of old calendars too. It wouldn't look as good (I'm not particularly crafty). But I like this idea!
